A Rumor with a "View"

So, the rumor is that Elisabeth Hasselbeck will be doing some sort of Dialogue fashion line for QVC this Spring. And--just like with Rosie--feathers are ruffled! How dare she bring a fashion line! Who does she think she is, anyway? She's an idiot! I hate listening to her on The View!

Whatever.

Just like I said with Rosie, people need to get over themselves.

I will say that "The View" is doing themselves a huge disservice by not having a right-leaning/conservative/Republican woman on the panel who can can actually articulate her perspective coherently. I know I prefer to hear an intelligent--even heated--discussion of the issues from different perspectives. I don't like to hear someone scream talking points and cry when asked for any facts or evidence to back them up.

But this has nothing to do with whether or not Elisabeth can put together a fashion line of some sort. I look forward to seeing what she does.

And as for the other rampant rumor that people keep emailing me about: No, I do not know if Patti is really leaving at the end of the month or not.

I promise, as soon as I know anything that I will let you know!!!

Girls' Night = Train Wreck

After having to make an apology about Tacori, Queen Bea needs an ego boost. I just want to say "I told you so!" about the Girl's Night show on QVC. I believe my exact words of warning were : "The View on crack."

Too many clucking chickens! Baaaaaaaaad idea. Cackling, laughing, steam rolling over each other (it was beyond talking over!), and talk of wieners and bras??? I don't even want to know.

Hopefully the sales weren't good so the won't do it again.

I did enjoy watching Kathy Levine again. Still no word on her new home decor line.

Joan Kicked off a F*#&ing Talk Show!

Well, she promised to offend ... at least she's a lady who keeps her word! There's a bazillion articles flying around the Internet about her F-word incident on live TV, but here's what Joan had to say about the whole tawdry incident on her blog (note: if Joan offends you, or bad language offends you, or there are small children or pets nearby, then DON'T watch the clip!):

My Day in London

So I started my day with an appearance on an ITV chat show called Loose Women-very similar to the US show The View. We talked about my upcoming theatrical performances in Edinburgh and London and of course about the Red Carpet. When asked about interviewing Russell Crowe I told the ladies on the show exactly what I thought.

Here’s the link….you watch and tell me what you think. Better yet-tell ITV exactly what you think.

Following that segment I was asked to leave the studio….or as the British press explains….I was “hauled off”, “kicked out”, and “booted from” the studio. And without my goody bag, nonetheless!

So what did I do? I proceeded right over to the BBC and did The Graham Norton Show. I adore Graham-we’ve worked together many times and I always have a great time when I visit his show. AND what’s GREAT is that Graham’s show airs after 9pm so I can swear ALL I want. So tune in Thursday and watch and hear every swear word I know….and then some!

And stay tuned to the blog. I’m working on an appropriate apology letter to the ladies of Loose Women. Of course I will share that with all of you.
