Sara Blakely, Spanx Founder (and size 2 with no back fat!)
On QVC's AM Style this morning there was this new Spanx bra--more specifically, the Spanx Bra-llelujah Full Coverage Front Closure Bra--that is supposed to combat back fat. And while I'm totally down with waging a war against back fat, I have two problems with this. 1) $62 for a bra (plus s&h and taxes) is waaaaay too much, and 2) I have a general issue with buying "body shaping" garment from Sara Blakely who is probably a size 2. How can she possible understand back fat???
I haven't tried the original Spanx, but I have tried Sara Blakely Assests at Target and I didn't have any luck--the waist was too big and the thighs were practically being severed in half. Going up or down a size wouldn't help, so I just took it back.
BTW, Lindsay Lohan flashed her Spanx at the MTV Movie Awards. Hey, at least she was wearing underwear!
