That was very poignant. Jacque G has to be one of the sweetest people on the planet, and it must have been shattering to go through that scary scenario.
ReplyDeleteGod bless her.
My Mom had a scare last June....and all came out OK, all benign. Here's my shout out to the great people at St.Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, and to Dr. Susan McManus (the best..and she's so cool).
Dr. M said my Mom would be able to dance at my niece's wedding last August....and she did.
I like Jacque. She's real.
ReplyDeleteGreat video! Thanks for sharing it. My breast cancer was found during a routine mammogram. I kept getting called back, for retakes. I was used to that part, then about the third time I knew it was probably cancer. I am not alarmist, my mom had just had invasive cancer. We were treated at the same hospital, I knew the drill.
ReplyDeleteIt is very important to catch The Beast when it is small and treatable. Mammograms do just that most of the time. But a cure is what every survivor and non survivor deeply desires.
I have new respect for Jacque...her story showed me that she's not shallow and has her priorities straight. I wish her many years of good health.
