Colleen and Muffy

Just because I love dogs, I thought I'd post these cute pictures of Colleen Lopez and her little doggie, Muffy.

Doncha love how Muffy is rockin' the bling-bling.

Colleen did mention in her blog that Paula Abdual is working on some jewelry for our little four-legged friends. Can't wait to watch those presentations! Paula tends to trip over her Chihuahuas and fall into walls. Poor Paula.

  1. In this economy canine couture seems a bit much. Somehow I'd rather make a contribution to an animal rescue group or no kill shelter to help dogs with nothing, than purchase a rhinestone dog collar. But each to his own!

    1. I agree with you. Give the money to animal charities....use it to feed your own pet higher quality foods....you can buy inexpensive "bling" collars for pets in most chain stores (for pets). Spending $$$$$$ for "designer" pet wear is excessive. I love animals, and my cat was a part of my family (she passed away). So I don't believe in denying pets love and the necessities, but high cost collars, clothes, etc is over the top. And sorry, I don't get the clothes. They must make the pets super uncomfortable. We need to focus on what's important.

    2. I'm really late to the party, but I'm against dressing animals up, etc. It's uncomfortable for. Them. And as another poster said, you can get cheap bling cat and dog collars everywhere. Use the money to do more for your own cat or dog, or donate to a no kill shelter.

  2. Is this a real woman or a cross dresser? She's so big and hefty and her features are HUGE. OMG!

  3. She is a she, not a cross dresser. Holding a tiny chihuahua such as this one would make anyone look big. Get a teacup chihuahua, hold it up, and stand in front of a mirror. See? Even your petite little self looks huge and mannish. That is, assuming you are petite. And don't look mannish already.

    2. I can see why that person felt that way, though. What was Colleen thinking!?! That too dark helmet hair, and those unflattering clothes. It got worse later that year, however...she showed up at Lynn Murphy's wedding in another off the shoulder ugly rag....a floral muu muu! Everyone else looked great...she looked like she strolled in from a backyard BBQ. And still with dark helmet hair, only shorter and more unflattering. She's a big woman and needs to watch what she wears. She's lost weight since then but still needs to be careful of the style of her clothes. She isn't fit or toned and still looks pudgy in some things.

    3. I have never understood why Lopez looked so casual and AWFUL at Lynn's wedding. She doesn't make good choices sometimes on what to wear and on that day....ugh! She still wears inappropriate or unflattering things. Even though she has lost weight, she needs to stop with the tight jeans and those dreadful bare shoulder/split sleeve tops. That's all she wears! And she has become more obnoxious than ever. And phony. I don't watch HSN anymore because of her.

    4. Since this thread is still going....I agree with your Colleen comments. She has turned into a big headed attention whore. And she definitely looks like a man in drag.
The other night on the list, she wore too tight skinny jeans with a blouse that tied at the waist. Made her look HUGE....she was enormous next to the other women on there.
She has camel toe half the time, and her pudgy legs look like sausages in those skinny jeans. Trash bag, she is. And yes....we're sick to death of cold shoulder, off shoulder, and slit up slleves. The off shoulder is especially trashy. She is trying to dress like a kid...which is not the same as dressing young.
IMHO, Carlos must like t girls. Nothing wrong with that, but if it wasn't for their 2 sons, I'd swear she was a masculine looking t girl. You need to rethink your style, Collin...oops, meant Colleen.

    5. Years later, Colleen still wears cold shoulder tops and skin tight clothes... and designs them, too. She is no longer a host per se, but comes on to host her designer clothes and jewelry, and designer gallery. She made that deal with HSN a couple years or so ago. I think she is easing off into retirement. Her cosmetic procedures aren't quite as effective anymore, but she still looks good. No one is immune to old age, and she's getting there. She must be mid late 60s by now. My how the time has gone. And rest in peace to Suzanne Somers, who passed away a couple weeks ago.

  4. Lol, Queen Bea...so true about Paula! Only she doesn't need a chihuahua to trip over...she does it well on her own. I'm not making fun, I like Paula. But something must be up to account for her recent clumsiness. She is, after all, a talented dancer and choreographer. I hope she gets it worked out, before she hurts herself.

    1. I agree...then I looked at the date of your post. Paula did have some trips and near falls back when she was on HSN. But I've also seen her on recent media reports, etc, and she still is "trippy". I hope she doesn't have a serious hidden medical disorder. Like something going on with her brain. I know she's had psychological problems in the past, poor thing, and some of the meds prescribed for those issues do collateral damage, unfortunately. I'd rather think she had too many martinis at lunch. Take care, Paula, you still have friends out there.
