Calling Female Inventors

As QB mentioned in this post, HSN is working with Kelly Ripa and TLC to produce a new television show looking for the best female inventors. If you've got a unique idea, a working prototype, and an effervescent personality, you're invited to the open call auditions for the show. You'll have a chance to get your product manufactured, marketed, and sold on HSN.

Click here for all the information on the open call auditions. If you have an invention, there's simply no excuse not to take a chance and audition. Take the leap and do it! You can even submit a video if you can't make it to one of the cattle calls.

I can't wait until the show starts! Should be interesting ... especially if they bring on some of our favorite HSN personalities.

HSN's New Reality TV Show

HSN is getting into the reality television business with TLC and Kelly Ripa. They'll be looking for the next great momtrepreneur who will get the chance to sell her product on HSN.

The show is going under the working title of Mom Inc. for now.

Each of these budding business women will have the chance to prove that they have what it takes to get their very own creations sold on HSN every inventor's dream come true.

Ripa will appear in each episode selecting a product and sending her expert into the field to put the would-be moguls through a series of tasks meant to get their product ready for the masses.

What do you wanna bet that Joy Mangano will mentor this group of struggling inventors on at least one episode???

Gossip: If You Don't Have Anything Nice to Say, Come Sit Next to Me!

From the celebrity gossip sites:

What does this female talk show host/ B list actress enjoy doing on her weekends more than anything? How about sitting in front of her television all weekend and ordering jewelery from home shopping channels. Thousands and thousands of dollars worth. And the funny thing is she doesn't really wear any, she just likes the shows and buying.

I heard that Kirstie Ally liked to buy tons of stuff off home shopping channels that she didn't even really want or need, but she's not a talk show host that I know of! Sounds like something Rosie O'Donnell might do. Whoopi Goldberg, maybe? She won an Oscar so I think that makes her an A-list actress, no? Kelly Ripa? Soap opera is B-list at best?

Whoever it is, Queen Bea would love to troll through her treasure troves!
