Ever wonder what happened to Amy from Motto on QVC?
Amy decided to leave her position representing Motto in order to spend more time with her family (no, not in the same way those sleazy politicians who are always resigning to “spend time with their families”). Amy is a wife and mom of three boys, two dogs and a goldfish. Her two youngest are still in elementary school, and Amy wanted to get more involved with their after school activities.
After taking 6 months off, Amy Jo Scaglione has joined the Physician Endorsed and Global Glamour family. So the good news is that she’ll be back on the air at QVC in the next few weeks. I spoke with the creator of the Physicians Endorsed brand, Elissa, about all the new changes.
So what exactly is Global Glamour?
It’s Physician Endorsed’s alter ego, born out of a love for all things accessories. Because the Physician Endorsed philosophy of 100% UV Protection precludes us from doing anything that is not UV rated, we decided to create Global Glamour Fashion and Global Glamour Home Accessories.
How did Amy come to represent your brands?
Amy and I have been "Green Room Friends" at QVC for many years. When I told her that we desperately needed a back up guest for Global Glamour (as Desiree our main guest is very pregnant with her first son--and in fact is in the hospital now awaiting his arrival!) She offered to pitch in, and things grew from there. I soon found out, she also loves accessories. In fact, she was heavily involved with the first "Head to Toe" show with Dan. She will also be helping to grow the Global Glamour product lines. Working with Physician Endorsed/Global Glamour allows her the flex time she needs to spend more time with her family.
