After being shown the revolving door earlier this year, former ShopNBC host Mike Davidson will be back at his old stampin' grounds. You can catch Big Mike's coming out party this Sunday on the "Watch Time with Jim" show as the new Renato watch guy. Does this mean Daniel Mink is out?

Interesting! You really have to wonder what is going on there. By the way, I hope they keep the host Wendi Russo. She is often on in the overnights (I'm up with insomnia) and is a delight. Soft-spoken, smart, funny, self-deprecating, lovely--she is a gem. I often wonder why superb hosts are not always appreciated, and those rather lacking seem to constantly be on air in prime slots. If it has to do with sales numbers, I guess I am out of sync with the majority of viewers! qc

DeleteI'm so glad to read that Mike Davidson will be back representing a vendor at SNBC. He was a host similiar to Wendi (above). Soft spoken, interesting, polite and always let the "product" take center stage. I have to say that about SNBC hosts-- whatever their individual personality is -- they always concentrate on the product being sold, not themselves!!

ReplyDeletewhat has happened to shopnbc? They used to have the corner of the market on computers and other electronics. Do that many people need watches? Seems to be the only thing they sell. Station has really changed. They don't have the cutting edge products they used to sell. Also thought Mike Davidson was a very good host.
