We've watched Dana Bledsoe, the lovely Perricone vendor rep, continue to forge ahead, go on the air, and do her job--all while fighting cancer. Her recent dramatic "hair cut" was in reality Dana tossing out the wigs when her real hair started to grow back after the treatments were completed.

I'm not going to pretend to be a fan of the brand since Dr. Perricone is a little too rich for my blood. However, I am a fan of Dana and her courage.
Her advice? If you know someone who is going through cancer treatments, call them. Just take a moment and reach out to them. I think so many times, we're so afraid that we might say the wrong thing, that we say nothing at all.
Be sure to check out the Pink Ribbon products on QVC. A portion of the proceeds will be going towards the Breast cancer Research Foundation. You can also read blogs written by QVC employees who themselves are survivors of the disease.

My heart goes out to Dana. I would have never guessed she had been wearing a wig and it took courage to just say "the heck with, off it comes"! She has really shown such great courage and grace to fight this battle and continue to appear on QVC. I would have never guessed. We never know when we see someone on the street or anywhere just what might be going on in their life. Best wishes to you Dana!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that about Dana! I never watch the Perricone shows because it's also too rich for me, as well, Queen Bea.
ReplyDeleteP.S.- She actually looks as cute as a button in the short hair. All the best to her.
I figured something was up with Dana, but was hoping it wasn't cancer. I can tell she's a fighter and hope all is going well! I do love Dr. Perricone's products and treat myself every once in a long while but always watch Dana's presentations. I love her attitude!
ReplyDeleteI just want to know why the fake British accent comes and goes...just like Madonna!
ReplyDeleteHello , can i make contact with Dana through this medium ? Janardana Dasa , Ireland . Email jono.dasa@live.com
ReplyDeleteTo Dana, all her WTW Drama friends are thinking about her!!!!
ReplyDeleteI went to high school with her - the accent is fake, she's a freaking actress, had a nose job at 13 in 8th grade and is probably lying about having cancer to get attention and book work...she's a complete fake...came back to our reunion with an Irish accent. LOL She's a freakshow and a complete JOKE!
ReplyDeleteShe lived in Ireland. That is where I met her and where I am now. I have not heard from her in many years and it just came into my head to google her. Hope she gets well soon.
ReplyDeleteI knew Dana in Highschool. She was not a fake but a very sweet and kind person. At the time, Dana did not care about what the color of your skin was or your origin, she embraced differences among people. Of all the people I went to school with she among only a few others stands out. I wish her all the best -Susan
ReplyDeleteDana is an absolute sweetheart! One of the nicest people you will ever meet.
ReplyDeleteDana is one of the most lovely people I have ever known. She lived in Ireland for years and had an amazing talent both as an actress and for bringing an unusual mixture of people together. She always had a lot of close friends who loved her of which I was proud to be one. Rock on Dana, tea and fresh scones await your return.
ReplyDeleteDana it's been many years.
ReplyDeleteI know you'll come through

Wow!! I can't believe the person who went to high school with Dana would say that she probably faked cancer!! WTH??? How could you say such a thing!! Obviously you have never had cancer or seen the affect it has on someone who has!! Dana is extremely beautiful...I always watch her on QVC...I can only aspire to have such gorgeous skin and be so beautiful. AND btw, who cares about her accent...when all is said and done, does it really matter?? Her accent does NOT define her as a person! You people are just rude!! My mother always taught me, "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!!" That person that supposedly went to HS with Dana needs to take a lesson from my mother!! Congratulations to Dana for your successful recovery from cancer and the birth of your daughter!! God Bless!!
ReplyDeleteI think her accent is her problem. Dr. P products are the best and all you hater should just be quite...
ReplyDeleteIf your IQ is so low that you can't understand Dr.P products -c/o of smell of products... This product is not for you- feel sorry for all of you don't know what you are missing I have used everything out in the market nothing compares and I keep going to Dr. P....He is the best so don't blame Dana for acting that way I would be the same. Products are awesome you could put all his products same time and doesn't feel valet like other things in market. You don't have to a genius to use his products.,.Dana your lovely person doing a good job.
ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of meeting Dana & her family today. She is an absolute doll! Beauty aside, she is the epitome of a lady & we had a wonderful time with her and her husband. Her skin is FAB U LOUS!!! Kudos to her & her lovely family.
ReplyDeleteI was friends with Dana in high school as well, and she was lovely and sweet then, and she looks lovely and sweet now. For such a beautiful girl (and she was beautiful), she was also kind and generous, and had a great laugh, as well as the ability to laugh at herself. I have only fond memories of her. I know she lived in Ireland for a time, so if her accent is affected by that, it only makes sense. I wish her the very best...
