HSN host Lynn Murphy recently announced that she was engaged. Congrats, Lynn!!!Between her engagement and her beloved Philadelphia Eagles still in the running for the Super Bowl, things are looking up for Lynn.
I happened to catch her discussing her engagement with interior designer, Nate Berkus, which reminded me that you must check out his new boyfriend, shoe designer Brian Atwood here. Wonder if he'll be coming out with a new line of shoes on HSN soon?
In other home shopping wedding news, rumor has it that Dan Hughes will be officiating Sandra Bennett's wedding. Some people seem to think that it should be Dan Wheeler since he got his degree in Biblical studies. Either way, she's keeping it all the highly-dysfunctional QVC Family.

DeleteJerry and Lynn's affair didn't just start in a bar in Florida recently. Their affair goes back almost a decade ago in Philadelphia when they both lived in Pennsylvania. He was married then when it started and was still married when they picked up where they left off but now in Florida. I hope Jerry also gets busted for the insurance fraud he committed when he conspired to fake a robbery at TRS then file an insurance claim. He later resold the "stolen" property. I seriously hope Karma kicks in.

DeleteI looked into the public records. Lynn Murphy has been on the air with HSN since 1991, when she moved from Philadelphia to Florida. Jerry wasn't married to Stacey until 1995. In 1991, Jerry wasn't living in the Philadelphia area. Next, I checked into TRS. Jerry didn't own any companies with the name or initials "TRS". There is no criminal record for Jerry as well. I think the post created on December 16 is false and made up to create a negative outlook on their marriage. You don't have to agree with everyone's decisions in life, but slander is a crime! Queen Bea, remove the slander.

ReplyDeleteI did some research myself online. Apparent Stacey Rae Dhulster and Gerald Dhulster got a new mortgage in 6/2007 and then divorced on 5/5/2008 in Pinellas county Florida. He married Lynn Murphy almost exactly one year later.

ReplyDeleteI have nothing against Lynn & have enjoyed her host presentations. Having said that, please know that I am neutral. There is a website that claims she was married to some guy ned howser from 1988-2000. I've been watching HSN since 1999 and Lynn was not married; she alluded a few times to a boyfriend, e an a breakup. So you see, there is lots of stuff out there that isn't true. If she actually was married....she hid it well. As for jerry d'hulster, none of us know the true story of his divorce, or when he started dating Lynn, so let's cut her some slack. Maybe he was nearing the finalization of his divorce when they started dating. Maybe he was a big cheater...who knows? As for changing her name...she shortened it. Her mom is Maddie, too...Lynn was probably looking to avoid confusion, and gain her own identity.
ReplyDeleteFlash forward to present time. Look at Lynn's Facebook. For quite awhile now, there have been no vacation pictures, party pictures, or anything personal. It's very brief and contrite, with no personal photos...although she recently posted a very handsome photo of Antthony Mark Hankins. But it's been about HSN shows, or happy Thanksgiving (or whatever) with NO personalization. Lynn does appear in other hosts' group photos, etc. But I have been wondering, for awhile, if her marriage is in a rocky spot or indeed in big trouble. She seemed very happy...but we really don't know Jerry, or her, so it's hard to say what's going on. Whatever happens, we should hope for the best for Lynn, and that everyone will be OK. We shouldn't judge until we know.
