Former Host Bill Fahey has Passed Away

Former CVN/ValueVision/ShopNBC host, Bill Fahey, has died. He was found yesterday and the family is awaiting autopsy results. They suspect a heart attack.

His funeral is tentatively set for Friday morning at Pax Christie Church in Eden Prairie MN; however, his son is in Berlin and can't confirm a flight home due to the volcanic ash issues there.

Announcement will likely be in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

I will pass along details as they become available.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family.

  2. I always liked his dry sense of humor. ShopNBC shouldn't have gotten rid of him last year. Hope his son is able to get back quickly and safely.

  15. I had always looked forward to Bill hosting the early morning show. He was the perfect host-armed with a great smile, a wealth of information he shared with the viewers, a very kind and charming man who spoke so dearly of his family. I felt terrible for him, his kids - most especially when I found out he was let go. He did not deserve that from ShopNBC. May he rest in peace. God be with him and his family.
